Fennel Raisin Scones

Fennel, olive oil and golden raisins create this fabulous scone with a delicate outside crust covered in baked fennel seeds. They don’t overpower, but they provide a pleasant background flavor. The outer layer crumbles away nicely after a bite, or when sliced in half. The inside is fresh with the aroma of butter.


Ingredients: Local all purpose flour (wheat), heavy cream (milk), gold raisins, pure cane sugar, local unsalted butter (milk), local eggs (egg), olive oil, fennel seeds, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt.
